I think for about the last year I have had numerous phone calls from Devin Wozencraft of Wozencraft Insuranceabout which new boat would be the best for him to buy. After going from here to there, in the end he came back around to where he started and I am very happy for him. When someone in the business actually participates as their customers do it brings a whole different level of value and relevance.
Devin Wozencraft is a boater, and not a new one, he has owned boats for years. He has gone through a 1990 Eliminator 234 Edge as well as a 2005 Force Offshore 26′ Cat. Now with his brand new Ilmore 710 powered 29 E-Ticket, he is prepared to show up at events around the country. He will tell you he is going to run the boat in the Texas Outlaw Challenge, the Lake Powell Poker Run, the S.C.O.P.E Poker Run, the Big Cat Poker Run, the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout and The Monster Bash. What he hasn’t fully accepted is how I am forcing him to do the Key West Poker Run. Contrary to what some may say this 29 from E-Ticket is more than capable of doing the 160 Nautical Mile run from Miami to Key West and I just double dog dared you Devin.
If you are fortunate enough to be a Havasu next week you will be able to see this new ride at Thursdays Street Party at the Wozencraft booth in front of Dog Days. Beyond that look back to Powerboat Nation for updates on Devins progress and a direct report out from when we take his new ride, for a RIDE!
Congratulations to the whole Wozencraft Crew!
