What began as a coincidental meeting while I was working Greece when I ran into an old friend from Puerto Rico, turned into a delivery ride on Nor-Techs new 450 Sport CC. This is hull number 4 of this yacht like sport boat with about 20 more on the order books as of right now. Nor-Tech has really made a huge move into the future of innovation with these new boats.
This boat is rigged with quad Mercury Verado 400’s and turned out an impressive 76 MPH with five full grown men on-board and lots of fuel. With five 400’s the boat runs in the mid 80 MPH range easy.
Right now this boat is being shipped to Puerto Rico and will serve duty as an island runner to the Dominican Republic as well as the US and British Virgin Islands.
The boat is really impressive with its full cabin, privacy glass at the flip of a switch, power extended sun shade, and an incredibly comfortable arrangement. Having lived in Puerto Rico for years I know this boat will set a new standard and fully expect many more orders to come as soon as this boat hits the docks at Casa de Campo and the other area island hot spots!
