Unless you’ve been trapped under a rock for the last couple of years, you can’t avoid what seems like the changing of the marine industry’s landscape from sterndrives and small outboards to large, high powered outboards. With growth continuing across the market segment, there is yet another evolution and that’s towards larger, higher horsepower models.
The numbers are in. And it is not just one, but all manufacturers of outboards that are making this push. The dilemma that his holding this back just a bit is the need for all engine builders to expand their small outboard offerings as well in order to meet epa emission standards as a brand.
