Today marks a sad day for powerboating as our friend and powerboat racing pro J.R. Noble has passed away. Right now we remain in complete shock after learning of this sad news. It seems like yesterday when we had the opportunity to talk with JR at the Miami Boat Show. In his usual super kind and gracious tone he went on to talk about the new Skater he was having built, what he expected with racing and what he enjoyed while not racing. JR was a leader and was responsible for bringing excitement and competition to offshore racing. JR will be missed but not forgotten. The entire Powerboat Nation team offers our deepest condolences to J.R’s family and friends in this difficult time.
