It just keeps going and going and going!
With the NMMA anticipating a 40% increase in the size of the in-water display for Progressive Insurance’s 2017 Miami International Boat Show, they are already in the process of building the largest temporary marina in the entire world to accommodate the growth.
According to NMMA president Thom Dammrich, there will be 565 boats this year instead of 400 like last year. They have already built the head walk and back walk and tents are being put up daily.
Even the on-water hands-on training capacity is doubling this year from 400 to 800 potential trainees.
