The Annual Jacksonville Fun Run River Rally was this last weekend, and despite the threat of cancellation early on, was as big of a success as ever.
With new event organizers Greg Harris and Yvonne Aleman, and the help of the boating community, the run was able to raise over $3,500 and counting for Camp Amigo, the North Florida program focused on children healing both mentally and physically from severe burn injuries.
While only 34 boaters signed up for the fun run, the Boater Skip Day was estimated to have seen over 300 boaters in attendance for the raft-ups, barbecuing, and various entertainment provided.
