Desert Storm Welcome Party Photo Gallery!
The 2019 edition of Desert Storm is finally here…and Wednesday night perfectly commemorated the iconic Lake Havasu poker run and shootout with the annual charity auction and welcome party held at Horizon Motorsports.
From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., participants, manufacturers and industry luminaries (including Bob Teague of Teague Custom Marine and his family, Chris Camire of Lavey Craft Boats, Jeff Johnston and Tony Chiaramonte of DCB Performance Boats, Jake Fraleigh of Eliminator Boats, et al.) gathered to christen the 21st annual boat blowout. The Welcome Party and charity auction, which launched last year’s event, is part of the most recent evolution of the Desert Storm experience—especially for the organizers’ most long-running and loyal participants and sponsors.
Longtime DCB customer Dave Magoo was in attendance, as was his brand-new DCB M44, Bananas XL. Also attending: John “KAP” Caparell (owner of a unique 32′ Doug Wright catamaran) and Gary and Rosemary Colledge of Collegewood Marine.
