OPA: Sun Print, Smith Brothers and Woah Mama Win in Englewood
#51 Sun Print, the 29’ Extreme with driver Steve Fehrmann and throttleman Steve Miklos, shook the bad luck it had at the SBI Key West World Finals off its heels to win their OPA race in Super Vee Extreme on Saturday.
It was the second race on Saturday, which saw Sun Print beating Boatfloater.com (second place) and Sheriff Lobo (third place). Brit Lilly and Randy Scheuless, who had finished third in their Tug It entry in Saturday’s Race One (Super Vee Light), finished fourth in LSB Hurricane of Awesomeness.
Meanwhile, in Class 6 racing, Smith Brothers (a 26′ Joker featuring Rich and Pete Smith) beat out Knot Guilty, while Class 7’s Woah Mama (a 22’ Redline with Joe Reilly Jr. and Joe Reilly) triumphed over Punisher to win in their class.
