Powerboat Nation members, JW Davis and Miss PBN, Brittany Dunn attended this year’s 10th Annual Powerboating for a Cure Poker Run in Virginia Beach, VA. This Poker Run this is probably one of the premier events on the East Coast or maybe even in the country and raised over $40,000.00 for Susan G. Komen breast cancer research. The accommodations and the extremely hospitable staff for this great cause were off the charts. In attendance was about every brand and style of boat you could imagine. Sunsation, Cigarette, Outerlimits, Sonic, Baja, Fountain, Active Thunder, Nor-Tech, Statement, Scarab, Nordic, Formula and many others. The duo of JW Davis and Brittany Dunn, of Davis Watersports and Davis 4×4 in Richmond, VA had four boats and several custom haulers in attendance to showcase what Davis Watersports and Davis 4×4 is all about. In the fleet of boats were their two personal Performance V bottoms one of which Brittany herself pilots on many occasions which is a 42′ Legacy Outerlimits as well as the debut of their newest ride a 42′ Ultimate Statement which she was the co-captain on all weekend making the driving of this wicked fast machine possible. They also had an in-water display, which were two new center consoles that are up for sale a new 36’ Glasstream with triple 350s and a 32′ sonic with twin 300s. They were also planning to bring one of their Custom 32′ Sunsations, but with the success of high sales they have sold all they had and all they can get in stock. Brittany and JW are no strangers to the poker run scene, traveling all over the country (usually not with 4 boats….lol) and continue to wow people as the epic growing duo in the marine and specialized truck market. They Will Never miss Powerboating for a Cure even though it is the closest one to them but they even said if it was across the country they would sure be in attendance because this is one that you just cannot miss. Great People, Awesome Party, Delicious food and Memories that last a lifetime!!
