The Florida Powerboat Club’s Tampa Bay Poker Run took place this last weekend and it was fabulous! A spectacular venue, great food, great water to run and the weather turned out to be one of those March days when you are really glad you are in Florida.
With just under 50 boats ranging from the over the top 80 foot Nor-Tech Roadster to a 30 foot Phantom the fleet was full of every boat style imaginable, Skaters, Nor-Techs, Deep Impact, Blackwater, Cigarettes, Sunsations , Sonic’s and many more! This run has always been great because of the location and the usual addition of many local boaters showing those from out of town the way around the bay. Everyone we talked to today while headed home raved about how really good this run was. The Florida Powerboat Club should be commended for another great run and the incredible Money Shot of the boats rolling under the Skyway Bridge!
